To support the coming publication of Who’s Who, Taiwan Firmware Academy (TFA) is willing to take charge of 2026 Who’s Who Scholars affiliated with all institutions in Taiwan. 2026 Who’s Who Scholars is to nominate and publicize those scholars who made substantial contributions on keeping conventional values of academics. This publication will be distributed over the libraries of all universities, and sent to related scholars all over the world.
The editing office in TFA is responsible for the communication between the application and the recommendation. In 2026 Who’s Who Scholars, TFA takes the service for three fields of scholars affiliated with Taiwan institutions: Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Systems & Control. There will be 30-50 nominees in the yearbook of 2026 Who’s Who Scholars, who did research or design contributions worthy of notice to Who’s Who. The referee committees for each invited applicant are selected as the third-persons across a spectrum of ages. Currently some distinguished scholars have been invited, say, Vigor Yang affiliated with Academia Sinica.
You are potentially invited as an applicant of 2026 Who’s Who Scholars. In the attachment is the application sheet sent by the editing office. Each applicant is asked to write self-recommendation into the sheet, and back to us by replying email. The to-be-written comprises:
- Vita
Academics-related biography is required, which is better including academic genealogy. - The field of expertise into which you classify yourself
- Represented works (list at most five accounts)
- List prior works by you or others that constitute your academic foundation
- Categorize your academic contributions:
State the contributions you made in each of the following categories, if any:
A. Novel and important invention or finding
B. Solutions of timing problems
C. A Bite of apple (exploration on hot topics)
D. Meta-physical conclusion
E. Novel applications
F. New visions or explanations of scientific results
G. New classification or process
H. Novel experimental strategies
I. Upgrade of theory or methodology
J. Comments on published works
K. Cross fields
L. Special concentration
The study is for the purpose of specific areas, countries, politics, economy, etc. It provides a set of compete tables/figures and cites special resources.
M. Others
The editing office will then send Application Sheet to the invited referees for a reviewing process. The Review Sheet of referees is to
- Ponder the importance of academic contributions. The evaluation is scaled from 1 to 9, where 9 indicates super importance.
- Post questions and suggest revision to the self-recommendation, waiting for the rebuttal of the applicants.

Those nominees who will appear at 2026 Who’s Who Scholars will be invited to donate US$300 or NT$10,000 in assistance with editing, formatting, promotion, printing, and reviewing processes. Anyone of them will get a certificate from 2026 Who’s Who Scholars, and the yearbook of 2026 Who’s Who Scholars. TFA will send the paper yearbook to the top university libraries all over the world, and the electronic yearbook to active scholars in your field.
